63

Today is the day we show
how silly we all are.

63

Prismatic,
is what it is.
Flat moments,
equations,
lines of logic and reason,
expand to follow
the line of the science,
where you see what has been done
and what remains.

Maybe more importantly, why.

62

The intangible to which
the great art aspires.

Some classes, you see that
the symbols on the page,
the interactions represented,
are not concrete.
They are the view of
things to come.

We've had a good October
Warm weather -- the 70s!
Cold walks around the ragweed side of town
and around the wide fields
A good October for the year,
late nights studying,
with friends, out.
A real good October.

60

Kind of an unusual experience.
Don't know if you've noticed it, too.
Trees are only pretty when they're fading.
Pictures are only pretty when they're bright.
What about pictures of trees?
There are oh so many.

59

You don't walk that lot
so much as that lot walks you.

Pay mind to the hush,
like rain descending
the rusted trailer of planks
pulled from the gone walls.

58

Crunch gravel
still air
shallow breaths
downhill tread
stir leaves
Freshman echo

57

Having a cat,
is like having a
near-sighted old man
that follows you everywhere.

There's times,
he can't even remember
your name.

Other times,
he can't remember
anyone else's.
